MY JOURNEY
I’m an avid student of human movement, constantly integrating new insights with my existing knowledge to empower my clients to reach their fullest potential
Danielle Cournoyer
I have always been passionate about studying human movement and applying that knowledge to help each client with their unique challenges. Whether it's improving mobility and stability, enhancing sport performance, or promoting general health, I tailor my approach to meet individual needs
In 2007, I began my Pilates education and became fully certified the following year. Throughout the years, my husband’s passion for Ironman competitions and his love for snowshoeing have motivated me to continually expand my knowledge of the human body and its movement. His lifestyle and desires inspire me to learn more, helping clients to continue to pursue their passions with vitality.
By 2009, I was able to dedicate myself full-time to exploring diverse modalities of human movement and healing. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from a wide range of talented teachers, and I incorporate their teachings into my practice, as detailed on the Fitness & Flexibility page.
In recent years, I have advanced my expertise by completing all levels of Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (PDTR) training and NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT). This advanced knowledge allows me to address complex neuromuscular issues with precision.
Additionally, I have studied Thai Massage, which complements my skills in Fascial Stretch Therapy due to their similar principles. This combination enhances my ability to promote relaxation and flexibility in my clients.
I have also pursued various levels of Cranial Sacral Therapy with different instructors, enriching my understanding of the body's subtle rhythms and how they impact overall health.
I will be taking more courses this year in Thailand and from the Barrel Institute
